More jurisdictions coming soon
We're actively expanding to new jurisdictions including Singapore, South Africa, and more. Practitioners can suggest new jurisdictions via the community platform.
The Open Matter Plans Network is the world's largest open legal workflow database. Legal practitioners across 5 jurisdictions access free, structured matter plan templates. Each plan is a step-by-step workflow checklist covering the full lifecycle of a legal matter - from initial instructions through investigation, preparation, and finalisation - with estimated time units, role assignments, and key date fields built in.
Plans are maintained by verified legal practitioners, version-controlled, and aligned to the SALI Alliance Legal Matter Standard Specification. That means every template reflects current procedural rules and statutory requirements for its jurisdiction - and can be integrated directly with your practice management system via CSV export or the JSON API.
Select your country above to browse jurisdiction-specific templates. Each jurisdiction page organises plans by state or territory and practice area, making it fast to find the exact workflow your matter needs.
