🇦🇺 Australia - Federal - Administrative Law - 5 plans
Federal administrative law is governed by the Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977 (Cth) (ADJR Act) for judicial review, and the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024 (Cth) which established the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) to replace the AAT from October 2024. The ADJR Act provides a simplified statutory pathway for challenging Commonwealth administrative decisions on legal grounds, while the ART conducts independent merits review.
Our federal administrative law plan library is under development with plans being built for ADJR Act judicial review applications, ART merits review proceedings, and challenges to Commonwealth government decisions. We welcome contributions from administrative law practitioners.

Every administrative law matter plan on this page has been created and refined by verified legal practitioners. Our community-driven approach means plans reflect real-world practice, not theoretical frameworks.
Suggest improvements, flag outdated procedures, or contribute entirely new plans. All suggestions are peer-reviewed and voted on by the community before being incorporated.
Federal administrative law practitioners can access 5 free administrative law matter plans, including 3 specialist derivative plans on the Open Matter Plans Network. Each plan is a structured checklist covering every stage of a administrative law matter - from initial instructions through to completion - with estimated time units, key dates, and role assignments built in. Use them directly in your browser or export to CSV for your practice management system.
All plans are maintained by verified legal practitioners, version-controlled, and aligned to the SALI Alliance Legal Matter Standard Specification - making them compatible with legal AI workflows and direct PMS integration via the JSON API.
